WOOL OR CASHMERE? CHOOSING YOUR VESÉRIOS CARDIGAN

Sep 18, 2026 É TOILE

WHICH ONE CAN YOU PICTURE WEARING?

Start with the T-shirt, trousers and shoes you already wear. Would you like colour, a pattern, or the texture of the knit to lead the outfit? VESÉRIOS offers different ways in through wool, wool–cashmere blends and cashmere cable knitting. The details below help you picture which version belongs in your wardrobe.

START WITH TWO WAYS TO WEAR IT.

Close the front over a simple underlayer and let the cardigan become the main part of the outfit. Leave it open over a T-shirt and bring the layer underneath into view. Try both with your usual trousers: the button opening changes how much of each layer you see. Choose the knit and colour for the combination you want to wear.

LOOK AT THE KNIT AS WELL AS THE FIBRE.

The pink model uses 100% wool in a 12-gauge knit. Blue, Sage Green and Gray Argyle use 80% wool and 20% cashmere, also in a 12-gauge knit. The beige model is 100% cashmere with cable and openwork knitting. These are distinct fabric structures and finishes within one cardigan family. Look at the surface as well as the material name.

WOOL–CASHMERE: COLOUR AND A SOFTER HAND.

Blue and Sage Green combine an 80% wool base with 20% cashmere for a softer hand feel. Both have tone-on-tone VESÉRIOS embroidery. Try Sage Green with an off-white T-shirt, or Blue with clothes you already wear in darker tones. Start here if you are drawn to colour, a softer hand and an embroidered detail. CASHMERE: TEXTURE ACROSS THE SURFACE.

The beige model combines 100% cashmere with cable and openwork knit structures. Their alternating surfaces create visible depth and texture. Ribbed edges frame the neckline, cuffs and hem; the knit itself is the focus. Try it with simple trousers and a plain T-shirt, choosing an underlayer you are comfortable showing through the openwork. THE EMBROIDERY, UP CLOSE.

On Pink, Blue and Sage Green, the VESÉRIOS embroidery is finished in Tokyo with part of the underlay stitching intentionally visible. This gives the mark a raised texture on the knit. The pink model also uses tonal buttons, keeping colour, buttons and embroidery in a similar range. Look at how that finish sits on the surface when comparing these models.

COLOUR OR PATTERN: THREE STARTING POINTS.

GRAY ARGYLE has its pattern knitted directly into an 80% wool, 20% cashmere fabric: try it as the patterned centre of an outfit with a plain T-shirt. PINK WOOL brings colour together with tonal buttons and embroidery. BLUE WOOL–CASHMERE offers a coloured knit with the same kind of embroidered finish. Choose the starting point that works with the clothes you reach for most.

WHAT TO CONSIDER ALONGSIDE THE PRICE.

Consider fibre composition, knit structure and finishing together. The embroidered versions offer a tonal mark with raised texture. Gray Argyle puts a knitted-in pattern across the surface. The beige cashmere model centres cable and openwork texture. These are the differences to weigh against the price of each piece: which do you want to see, feel and wear? Current prices are on the individual product pages.
